Lately Nicci and I have been renting movies on Amazon Instant Video because our Smart TV is...well, smart. So far we've watched We're the Millers and last night we saw Insidious 2. Both were as expected, but to say I was more than giddy at how well it streamed and quickly we got the movies would do a great disservice to the inner tech geek inside of me.
I was over the moon. It was incredible. Having an HD option, on demand, instantly, from movies that were just released was phenomenal. We do have Netflix but waiting that whole 20+ day time period so the movie people can try to con you into buying their films and hope they break you really gets to me so we have checked out Amazon lately.
I jumped on Amazon this morning to peruse and on the front page I am hit with this:
Now, I'm no prude, but what from those two movies told Amazon I'd be interested in these? Is it because Jennifer Aniston plays a stripper in We're the Millers? I'm curious as to who wrote the algorithm. I'd like to meet them. So I can shake their hand.
