I am looking to get this blog going again with a regularity that it hasn't really seen before. Before I do that, I need to recap a couple events that I missed covering. If you lived under a rock, you missed it, but if not, this all falls under the Obvious Tree.
- Boston Red Sox swept the Colorado Rockies in the World Series. To be honest, after a close Game 1, I was too superstitious to update, especially during the games. Mike Lowell won the MVP, when it could have go to Jonathan Papelbon, Josh Beckett, or even Jacoby Ellsbury. No one complained Lowell won it.
- Boston resigned Curt Schilling to a 1 year deal and Mike Lowell to a solid 3 year deal. The team is intact, which is quite the opposite of when they won the Series in 2004.
- At this point, the Patriots are 11-0, while the Dolphins are 0-10, working on 0-11 tonight against the Steelers. Patriots almost lost last night to the Eagles.
- Celtics are amazing. Simple as that. At 11-1, the ball just bounces the right way every time it seems.
That summarizes a lot that has happened lately in a short post. I'm going to see if a buddy of mine can change up the banner, maybe give me a couple I can rotate from. More to come.
