If there is one thing I want to (need to) get better at it is updating with regularity. Here is the truth about the lack of updates:
If the Sox lose, sometimes I don't feel like writing. If the Celtics win a close one and it's late, by the time I get around to writing it, they are losing their next game. Beantown Sports Guys are just two friends that among all else are massive Boston sports fans. Sometimes after an emotional win or loss, we are drained and sometimes can't put words on the screen.
But hopefully that will change. Even quick updates, synopses will have to do on those nights. We do it for fun, and well, writing about your team getting the shit beat out of them is hardly fun, right?
That said: Bring on the Lakers. Kobe and Company are walking through that door, and I have a feeling if the Celtics can win their first two home games the series might only go to 5 games, as our defense is a cut above their offense, and our offense is just as good if not better than theirs.
It all comes down to this. This is what Boston has waited for. Everyone in Beantown wanted Kobe and the Lakers as soon as the playoffs started. So let's finish the deal.
